DeafHear’s “Keep the Sound” campaign is a nationwide awareness campaign, aimed at 13–30 year olds, to highlight the potential damage to hearing caused by listening to music ‘too loud, too long’.
Our “Keep the Sound” Roadshow will visit St Louis Secondary School and Dundalk Institute of Technology on 23/24 February 2015. DeafHear staff will test listening levels of students using DeafHear’s “Sound Heads”. The ‘Sound Heads’ technology measures and records the volume at which students listens to music on their portable music players.
